The APL3700K features a bright, easy to read 15-inch (XGA 1024 x 768) TFT touch screen display with an Intel? Core?Duo 2.0GHz or Intel?Celeron?M 1.86GHz processor. The APL3700K industrial PCs offer data protection with hot-swappable software mirroring hard drives. A built-in factory alert system provides downtime prevention.

Exclusive Factory Alert System - Helps prevent downtime

The APL3700K comes preloaded with an integrated PC health monitoring alert feature. This feature, called RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability), monitors PC parameters such as temperature, fan, power and hard drives, and instantly notifies factory personnel if the PC is in trouble. Optionally collect and manage health status information with Pro-Server EX data management software

 

Advanced Data Protection

The APL3700K keeps your factory running with hot-swappable, redundant, hard drives. Ensure your data is protected with the optional dual SATA hard drives in a RAID1 configuration.
Other data protection options include networked data connections, and bootable CompactFlash?storage options.

Advanced On-Demand Operator Interface Option

Optional Open HMI, WinGP software turns Pro-face PCs (APL3000 and PS3000 series) into an on-demand Operator Interface. Use the PC to run 3rd-party software such as vision, motion, custom applications or SCADA, and run WinGP when needed. Develop screen graphics and enable PLC communications with GP-Pro EX development software then run them on the PC with WinGP software. With a wide array of application development tools, expanded diagnostic features and simulation capabilities, GP-Pro EX is capable of handling the most demanding HMI applications.

(Health monitoring alert) port, and five USB 2.0 ports (four on rear, one on front), CompactFlash socket, one DVI-I video port, and speaker output.

The DVI-I port can be used to connect an external monitor.
