Aviation Application
The
US Army AMRDEC recently installed two (2) 8.4" All-Weather
All-Terrain Displays into the control panel of a EH-60L aircraft; a
US Army aircraft operated by the Aviation and Missile Research Development and
Engineering Center, Aeroflightdynamics Directorate, located at Ames Research
Center in California. Pilots will be using the displays to land the EH-60L in
brown-out dust conditions, where both pilots will have greatly reduced
visibility of the ground.
These
IP67 rated, NEMA 6, fully sealed, sunlight readable displays are unparalleled in
the industry due to their rugged and extreme versatility and use in virtually
